Historical Elevator
If you travel in Turkey, one of the words you wouldlearn occasionally would be "Asansor", which simply means "elevator". In Izmir it is one of 10 spots that you definitely have to see. This street elevator is the only one of its kind in Turkey and who knows, maybe in whole Asia. It was built in the very beginning of the 20th century and has 40 meters height. Connecting two streets it welcomes passengers with a beautiful sea view from above. There are a couple of restaurants and a wine-house on the top of the building up there.
