Ataturk House Museum
Don’t miss your chance to visit one of several Izmir museums with free entrance and to get known more about Turkish national hero Kemal Ataturk. Now it is finally open after a long period of restoration and available for tourists from 8.30 am till 5.30 pm except on Mondays. Inside you will find lots of information written in English along with interior features and design items, mostly original from the beginning of 1920s. Just like most of "Ataturk Houses", this one was not really a home for the former president, but a temporary residence where he stayed during his visits to the city.
