Park Monbijou
If you have ever heard something of Monbijou Palace you should also know that it was demolished by the end of 50-s. But instead a beautiful green park rose on its place. Indeed it became a peaceful oasis in the middle of roaring modern metropolis. So if you find yourself in the center of Berlin, on Museum Island or somewhere nearby, don’t hesitate to have a break in friendly Monbijou Park, especially if you have your kids with you. There is a children swimming pool area in that park with additional playgrounds for different age groups. For sunbathing they also have special spots or just pleasant green lawns if you prefer. In little kiosks you may find ice-cream, sandwiches and drinks – isn’t it a perfect family destination of Berlin?
