Monument to Frederick William I
Frederick William I is also called Frederick the Great, because of his successful ruling the country of Prussia and getting new lands for it. A great monument for a great man – its construction took more than 20 years and a great number of people involved. It was in luck’s way not to get damaged during the war, but for some reasons it was moved from its original place on Unter-den-Linden to Potsdam palace Sanssouci. But now you don’t have to leave Berlin to see this great landmark – it was returned to the old place.
