Palais Podewil
Well-survived (or well-reconstructed?) nice building of the 18th century was once a property of state minister Heinrich von Podewils, who being an esthete, improved its interior with wall paintings and fretwork. Since Podewils passed away the building changed its owners frequently till the 2WW. Afterwards it started its cultural mission as a center for creative youth. Now it is still in the loop as a place for music, theater and literature, its concert hall offers a wide stage and 450 seats and inner yard is being used for open-air events.
