New Museum
This is one of the most popular and highly recommended museums of Berlin, don’t miss your chance to visit it while you are in the capital! It sounds funny, but New Museum is relatively new. Even though it was built in the 19th century, it was opened for some time before the war and then was a long period of waiting – for the end of the war first and for restoration then. Opened again in 2009 it got several rewards for its exhibitions and for architecture. Now and earlier this museum has unique collections of Prehistoric period, Early history and Egypt. Some of its artifacts are very special, for instance, well-known Nefertity’s bust.
