Former Prison Rummelsburg
Here you will find a huge building and memorial with informational panels. This place remembers time of hard work, forced euthanasia and imprisonment. Back in 19th century, newly built it became a work-house for homeless people. During Hitler’s regime deviant people were kept a tight lid on here and also it was a place for getting rid of irremediably sick people too. After the War communists made a prison out of the building, so as you see the place keeps enough memories to share with those who look not only for vanilla touristic attractions in Berlin.
