This is one of highly recommended museums in Munich. First it is one of the oldest museums of the city – more than 200 years is a good deal. Also its main theme – ancient sculpture is quite seldom exposed alone, so this place is quite unique. All the expo halls are spread around a cozy four-square inner yard, where you could enjoy your coffee, think about the turns of history and discuss your ideas with friends and other visitors. You should also remember about "museum Sunday rule" in Munich. Here as well as in lots of other Munich museums you can get your ticket for a miserable price (about 1 EUR). Children go on Sundays for free.
